Basic Arts Education is
the sole Educational tool that has been birthed from the World of Hart
Culture. Hart Culture C.I.C. is an Award winning Social Enterprise
project and registered Community Interest Company. This means
that it has an asset lock, however it also means that 'monies' can be
re-invested into the community once revenue comes in.
The Basic
Arts Education specialism has taken Hart Culture into the depths of
Mental Reparationa and Better Mental Agility. This is targeted
at offering a specialist therapy and 'conflict therapy' to the
communities that were directly affected by the 'Trans Atlantic Slave
Trade' . This period 'The Irong Age' lasted for approximately 400 Years.
The legal trading of Human beings saw over 45million African
Families devastated through the auspices of European 'Trade and
Investment'. This invaluable intake of 'free labour' saw the
beginnings of the 'New World'. The Basic Arts Education Courses has
serviced people from all walks of life and ages, including regular
Summer Schools at the Drop In Bereavement Centre, which the Team
Leader - Chermiah Hart, originally help to set up with Collegues
Olive Brady and later, Sandra Bronson.
The Drop
In Bereavement Centre comes under the Community Links Umbrella,
that runs over 450 Community Projects, buildings and initatives
in Newham. The Charity has been in operation for just over 35
years.
The Basic Arts Education League covers over 250 Subject
areas and specialisms and was launched around the time of the Golden Era
simply because this is the 'Era' of looking and observation of not only
ourselves, but also the way we live. When we educate ourselves about the
world we live in, we can begin to have a more meaningful
relationship to those things around us and to our environment.
Although there are many inexpplainable things in the world that
Communities just can not understand, it is important at the same
time to 'Begin the Discussion'. Hart Culture was instrumental in
beginning the discussion in the May 2012 Quadrennial International
Reading Symposium (http://www.hart-culture.co.uk/world/qirs/),
which saw the immediate change of local School entries in Newham, making
'Literacy Levels' compulsory. In the 21st Century, people should be
struggling to read and write standard English and string
basic sentances together.
But, on more important matters,
we can never truly understand who we are unless we 'stop and
think'. The entire hart Culture Modules for Basic Arts Education is
designed facilitate primarliy that, this spands from Science,
Chemistry, Biology, Literature, Tailoring and Maths. The Course uptake
from 2011 - 2013 have so far been a success and hope to see
more established buildings, Schools and Universities based on the
